Benzoin Essential Oil raises spirit and uplifts mood. That is why it was and still is widely used in religious ceremonies in many parts of the world. It is used in incense sticks and other such substances which, when burnt, gives out smoke with the characteristic aroma of Benzoin Oil.
Benzoin Essential Oil, besides being a stimulant, is a relaxant and sedative on the other. It relieves anxiety, tension, nervousness, and stress. That is why, it gives a feeling of uplifted mood and relaxes people in case of anxiety and stress. As it exudes, the resin is yellowish, but when it thickens and hardens, it becomes brownish-red. Benzoin is useful for brown marks on the face, decolletage and hands, particularly in association with Lemon Oil. Mix 10 ml (2 tsp) almond Oil with 2 drops Lemon, 2 drops wheatgerm and 4 drops Benzoin Oil. The simple Benzoin tincture could be diluted with distilled water to make an effective skin toner. The effect it has on the skin is to improve elasticity, helping cracked skin, while aiding the healing of sores and wounds and at the same time reducing redness, irritation and itching.
HOW TO USE: Benzoin Oil is very thick and sticky when in pure form. You can mix it with any carrier Oil before using. We will also suggest you to microwave the bottle at least for a minute before using. The Oil will come out fine and will serve all your purpose and needs. • Do not apply directly to skin, always dilute with carrier oil.

• Do not use citrus oils before exposure to UV light.

• Dry evaporation - Several drops of Essential Oil are placed on a cotton ball or tissue and allowed to evaporate into the air.
